Job Role:

Work within the Aircraft Services Department the role will focus on delivering support to Customer Support and Service Operations as required.
Quality Control:
- To be responsible for the implementation and delivery of an internal audit programme across Aircraft Services temporary maintenance operations.
- To be responsible for the implementation and delivery of an internal audit programme for Aircraft Services civil flight part 145 maintenance operations.
Health and Safety:
- Support the CS&T management team in providing support to remote locations with the application of LH UK Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures by acting as the focal point between CS&T and the HS&E department.
Support Provision:
- Support Off-site operations in the resolution of issue identified as part of Internal and external audit findings and business improvement initiatives.
Aviation Safety:
- Lead and support maintenance error investigations and subsequent event review groups.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Provide support to all LMW UK Offsite Aircraft Maintenance Operations maintain their UK MoD MRP 145 approvals and BSI 18001 approvals .
- Provide Quality and H&S support to 30+ different locations for CS&S worldwide including, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Portugal, Denmark, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Malaysia, Korea and Brazil.
- Ensure Safety management systems are in place Where LHMW are contracted to provide maintenance support.
- Develop, plan and implement surveillance plans that allows deployed operations to demonstrate compliance to contract specific regulatory and the LMW Operating system.
- Ensure the CS&S UK Off site location comply with LH Health and safety and environment policies and procedures as applicable.
- Demonstrate relevant knowledge, background and experience of Health and Safety Regulations.
- Travel to various locations both within the UK and overseas when in support of the above accountability.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
- Comprehensive, detailed knowledge of helicopter maintenance operations, including practical experience of helicopter first line maintenance and operational support
- Be self-motivated, work on own initiative but able to work within larger teams
- Possess excellent communication skills and maintain an astute business and commercial awareness
- The ability to interface and network with all levels of the Company and Customers
- Awareness of Integrated Operational Support requirements from both a Customer and Company perspective
- Have an overview level of understanding of Aircraft Product Support including a working knowledge of the Company Operating System and SAP infrastructure.
- Relevant experience with proven ability to plan for and work effectively within major concurrent programmes
- Educated to at least HNC level in relevant aerospace subject
- Alternatively, have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship followed by a period of employment in all aspects of aerospace support functions to demonstrate sufficient practical experience for the job role

- NEBOSH Practical application/ Managing Health and Safety IOSH
- Approved Maintenance Error Investigator qualification
- Approved Maintenance Human Factors trainer qualification
- Computer literate
- Interpersonal, written communication skills, in order to influence personnel at many levels, internally and externally and able to lead and work as part of an integrated team
