We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Planning Specialist at our Indian Springs / Creech AFB, Nevada location. This position must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS in support of Company projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance in accordance with U.S. Air Force documentation policies and procedures, specifically (AFI-21-101, T.O.00-20-1, IMDS).
* Provides operation support of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS) and other maintenance management database library programs.
* Maintains all technical documents and records including maintenance plans, Job Control Numbers, historical documents, aircraft files, Time Compliance Technical order (TCTOs) folders, engine records, and procedures.
* Coordinates maintenance flying schedule; debriefs and schedules discrepancies.
* Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities.
* Coordinates aircraft maintenance in accordance with established procedures and time tables.
* Participates in the development of weekly schedules for home and deployment locations.
* Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections
* Coordinates transfer and acceptance inspections; ensure all required checks are performed and documented. Schedules and monitors TCTOs, one time inspections, time change items (TCIs), and special inspections. Orders TCI replacement part through Military Supply channel.
* Participates in status meetings, document reviews and scheduling programs.
* Trains management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.
* Maintains equipment records in library files.
* Expected to maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
* Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications

* Typically requires education al training equivalent to the completion of a two-year technical degree or trade school equivalency and five or more years experience in aircraft planning, scheduling and documentation. Equivalent professional or military experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
* Must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of aircraft planning, scheduling and documentation principles, theories and concepts.
* Must possess: (1) basic knowledge of USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS) and other maintenance management database library programs.; (2) ability to monitor and update plans, documents, files and schedules; (3) familiarity with industry requirements and company policy and procedure; (4) organization skills to maintain flow of work within the unit; (5) good analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately interface with internal and external customers, contractors and aircrew and train and debrief as required; (6) the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; and (7) basic knowledge of computer operations and applications and word processing and spreadsheets.
* The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security clearance is required.

Travel Percentage Required : 50% - 75%
