Aircraft Mechanic II Hydraulics

ZENETEX has become a major force in the field of aircraft maintenance. We proudly support all four branches of the military in performing Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level aircraft, ground vehicle, and component maintenance. A new contract award at Offutt AFB, NE has created the need for an Aircraft Mechanic II to support the 595th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Hydraulics Mechanic will provide Organizational-level maintenance on the E-4B aircraft. Specific responsibilities may include:

* Performing a variety of duties associated with aircraft pneudraulic support on the E-4B aircraft to include: maintaining, repairing, and modifying aircraft pneudraulic components, which may include flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatic, fuel systems, landing gear, steering, mechanical components, foldable airstairs, and Trailing Wire Antenna (TWA) systems
* Applying technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions in order to restore equipment condition and or operation
* Applying comprehensive, technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as: blueprints; sketches; drawings; specifications; WCDs; work orders; and PAC in the repair and/or replacement of aircraft components

Education and Experience Requirements

* High school diploma or GED required
* A minimum of 4 years of aviation experience performing the above duties and responsibilities
* Must have a combination of experience to repair engines, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, power train and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions
* Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, and broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair
* Experience on the E-4B aircraft highly desired

Security Clearance

* This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
