GET TO KNOW THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity exists in our high performing Data Consult team within Torque Data at Velocity Frequent Flyer. The role involves working closely with our Data Science, Digital, Marketing and Partner teams to ensure our data and insights are used to drive better customer experiences and financial outcomes. You will be responsible for proactively embedding the smart use of data across an exciting portfolio of partners, including Virgin Australia.

In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between our data science team and our commercial business by giving our data and analytics a voice .

A little more about your day to day:

* You will partner with our data scientists to understand the output of their analytics and apply a commercial lens to turn those insights into actions.

* You will provide ongoing support across your allocated partners/ portfolios, shaping and driving strategy by using a data-first approach

* You will partner with and support Marketing to shape our campaigns and CRM road-map. You will support them by defining data-driven strategies around the target audience and communication style and implementing a test and learn approach to increase member engagement and overall campaign performance.

* Post campaign or project, you will study its underlying performance and measure overall results to provide future recommendations on how we can continuously improve

* On a more strategic level, you will apply data analytics & insights to highlight new products and ideas that enhance our offering. As part of this, you will need to use data to understand how new products or other changes to our proposition will affect our bottom line, both short and long term.
