As a System Administrator you will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer system hardware, software and related infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity to learn new things by participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation and improvement within the company’s computing infrastructure. Our team ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards and values, enabling staff and partners. System Administrators are responsible for monitoring equipment spread across multiple sites and need analytical and interpersonal skills to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues as they arise while keeping the relevant stake holders informed as needed. * Install, configure and support computer hardware and software throughout the company
* Monitor and complete system backups in accordance with company data strategies
* Install, configure and support computer virus protection software
* Install, configure and maintain corporate electronic mail and spam filtering systems
* Monitor systems performance and maintain high-availability of critical company systems
* Test and certify security patches and new software before production deployment
* Provide off-hours support as required to maintain the availability of key systems and services
* Travel to company locations as needed to support or repair systems
* Identify and implement system security for all computing platforms
* May entail responsibilities specific to a particular computing platform such as desktops, laptops, and tablets
* May entail responsibilities specific to file servers and other hosting systems

Minimum Requirements

* Availability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation schedule
* At least one year using Microsoft Active Directory
* Two plus years of demonstrated knowledge in Windows 2008 and 2012 server administration
* Two years of experience configuring and administering VmWare in a high availability environment.
* Basic understanding of local and wide-area network concepts, protocols and addressing
* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to create and maintain system diagrams with Microsoft Visio
* Basic understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server
* Experience administering various data backup solutions
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical and Other Requirements

* Microsoft certifications
* Cloud based application administration experience
* Experience installing or administering Unix or Linux systems
* Must possess a valid driver’s license
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* US citizen or show proof of right to work in US
* Ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently with or without a reasonable accommodation
