MPI are looking for a Admin / Analyst to work within a Supply Chain Specialist department for contract role in Gosport , Hampshire.

Our client has indicated that they are happy to accept applications from candidates with strong Data Admin and Analyst background, as full training within the Supply Chain will be given.

They are looking for someone who is motivated by an Analytic Role, and need person(s) to take ownership of the data analyst, as will be taking job from start of the system though to the end, with lots of reporting and interfacing with the MOD. Therefore you do need to have good Excel skills

Duration 12 14 month contract (as per customer requirements)

Duties:
The successful candidate will assist in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities. Enters tracks monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders. Processes material returned from customers. Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities capacity and performance. Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.

Problem Solving:
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.

Discretion:
Works under general supervision. Products are reviewed for sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Impact:
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may result in the allocation of additional resources.

Liaison:
Interacts primarily with internal personnel and external customers. Represents the organization on specific projects.

Previous experience of supply chain practices is preferred
Ability to interrogate multiple systems and compare data to draw accurate conclusions based on data reviews.
Advanced user of MS Excel is essential.
Effective interpersonal & communication skills.

If successful, applicants will need to go through the Security Clearance procedure before can start on site and this can take up to approx 3 weeks.
