JOB SUMMARY:

To maintain general accounting systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Perform duties necessary to maintain general accounting system. Requires the ability to revise accounting procedures as conditions warrant and determine whether all transactions are made with accepted accounting practices and within company policies.

1.

Maintains a variety of accounts and records such as recording disbursements, expenses, tax payment or in maintenance of accounting controls over inventories of payments.

2.

Required to audit contracts, orders and vouchers, and prepare reports which substantiate individual transactions before their settlement.

3.

Assist in the maintaining of records for all capital assets purchased by the division.

4.

May be required to work with Internal Revenue Agents relative to audit of fixed assets and expenses.

5.

Responsible only for own work.
