Position Summary:

Use demand signals to plan, prepare, and implement negotiation strategies. Manage effective competitive bidding process including analyzing and evaluating proposals along with negotiating and selecting or recommending suppliers. Manage inventory levels to maximize turns while maintaining fill rates.

Position Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):

· Perform a variety of activities in support of successfully procuring and arranging for delivery of materials, services, and supplies for assigned parts/commodities.

· Develops and implements negotiations strategies that have financial impacts to the company.

· Maintains and supports existing contracts with amendments, SOW changes and extensions.

· Act as a liaison in arranging meetings between potential suppliers and internal customers.

· Understands and utilizes supply chain management strategies to drive breakthrough performance in current metrics and future metrics.

· Develops and maintains strong working relationships with a broad spectrum of internal customers including staff across the Textron business units.

· Monitors respective markets and provides market insight to business teams. Understands and implements pricing strategies to capitalize on and protect against business and market volatility.
