They are looking to engage a Logistics Export Executive on a permanent basis in the South East of the UK.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Process urgent customer orders – including AOG, IOR and routine shipments. Organise and prioritise requirements accordingly.

• Process all shipments to global customers and suppliers

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships

• Answer and make telephone calls with a confident and polite manner

• Negotiate cost effective shipment methods

• Organise oversized/hazardous or heavyweight shipments in line with shipping regulations

• Work in line with export control legislation

• Process data entry & log errors accurately

• Ensure all paperwork is completed as per country specific requirements

• Resolve shipping queries

• Work in line with strict time frames and deliver a high quality service

• Share knowledge with colleagues

• Update IT systems with required information

• Create & analyse reports

• Liaise with other departments when needed

• Assist the logistics department and managements with administration when needed

• Resolve queries for freight accounting invoices



Minimum skills & experience –

• Knowledge of Export and Import procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance preferred

• Excellent computer literacy, experience using Microsoft programmes & use of Quantum and aircraft parts databases advantageous

• Experience creating & analysing reports

• Strong telephony & administration skills

• Willingness to develop knowledge and skills within logistics

• Proactive & able to problem solve in a busy environment

• Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and written

• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships

• Professional and confident telephone skills

• Able to multitask & meet deadlines
