Welding Technician

Job Summary

The Welding Technician will produce high quality tooling and equipment in support of aircraft maintenance needs. You will be responsible for for ensuring safe and efficient operations of the equipment and end product.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

- Weld, Assemble, clean, Analyze and Assemble

- Use hand tools and/or measurement equipment

- Interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

- Read, understand and follow data in Corridor, the RSM and other documents relative to the job.

- Obtain and maintain job specific data as necessary.

- Safely operate equipment following standard procedures and wearing PPE as required.

- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED

- 2 years of equivalent experience

- Technical trade certification or associates degree preferred, but not required

Additional Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions and communicate clearly.

- Analyze information and technical concepts

- Collaborate with others and work independently.

- Identify and understand key details about the job.

- Troubleshoot and fix basic to complex problems.

- Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills.

- Creative thinking and idea generation.
