Overview

Every 45 seconds an AJW contracted plane takes off somewhere in the world. Thousands and thousands of aircraft parts come through our 17,000 square foot warehouse each year, where they are accurately sorted and sent for repair or to be fitted on a plane at Gatwick or beyond. Everything from aircraft wheels to coffee makers are managed on a daily basis, and if a plane is grounded somewhere we have an extremely tight timeframe to get the critical component to the right place.

Our Warehouse Operatives are a varied bunch, whether at the beginning of their careers (our Group Chief Strategy Officer started off there), in the twilight years or anywhere in between. What they have in common is a commitment to quality and a can-do attitude.

It’s busy here, but it’s fun. We believe in teamwork and success is rewarded. We have an onsite gym that active types can use free of charge, a subsidised canteen serving hot breakfast and a range of lunches and we have a host of free activities, such as barbeques and quizzes, throughout the year. For breaks and lunchtimes, there’s pool and table tennis tables or quiet areas to relax and eat your packed lunch.

We also offer full training, a range of shift options in a 24/7/365 operation and free parking on site.
