Job Summary

Acting as Cathay Pacific’s internal creative agency, we design differentiating content and experiences that bring the Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon brands to life. We guide and produce customer and employee-facing content through photography, video, graphic design and copy; across the discplines of customer experience, marketing, digital and product design.

We are looking for a video producer with a curatorial eye and deep enthusiasm for storytelling and new content experiences to join our team.

Key responsibilities

* Produce engaging videos that capture our brand, customer experience, destinations, aircraft, and people. Productions range from high-end corporate films, to motion graphics and creative clips for social media

* Edit effective, quick-turnaround content in non-linear digital editing systems for multiple channel outputs, including digital, social media, branding and YouTube

* Collaborate with art directors and videographers from pre to post; but also self-shoot, direct and deliver from end to end when required

* Help create, maintain and organise calendars, schedules and equipment for post-production

* Archive, organise and template video projects to streamline production

* Ensure that work consistently adheres to our brand and video guidelines

* Responsible for making sure our content resonates with target audiences and markets

* Offer continuous insight into industry best practices, digital trends, and content generation ideas

Requirements

* Creative, tech savvy self-starter with 3+ years of editing experience in video production / multimedia design

* Masterful in post-production, including editing footage, motion graphics, dialogue, colour grading and sound sweetening

* Solid understanding of digital and social media video consumption trends

* Experience shooting on DSLRs and other HD cameras / equipment

* Keen eye and passion for video and photography. Naturally aligned to Cathay Pacific’s style

* Strong storyteller, capable of turning complicated concepts into simple, elegant narratives

* Works well under deadline pressure

* Organised and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously

* Masterful in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and Final Cut Pro X

* Bachelor’s degree in Art, Film, Communications, Broadcast or similar field

* Strong portfolio demonstrating range and quality of projects you’ve completed

* Willingness to travel to different destinations and offices around the world

* An absolute lover of travel and all that it represents
