The Vice President Revenue Management has the overall responsibility of the Revenue Management Department in Norwegian. The Revenue Management Department is a part of the commercial division in Norwegian and is organized in seven teams across four main areas which will be under your management:

• Ancillary and Pricing

• Distribution

• Systems, Demand and Data

• Revenue Optimization

The department currently employs 36 highly skilled professionals from ten different nationalities based in Oslo, Norway and Riga, Latvia. The Revenue Management Department is central to Norwegian’s financial performance optimizing top line revenues worth more than 38 BNOK (2018) across a significant number of products and channels. The Vice President Revenue Management currently has seven direct reports.

Clear accountabilities for the department include:

• Monitor the Norwegian’s revenue performance and ensure the required corrective actions are undertaken by the relevant teams.

• Ensure that the departments business processes are efficient and allow for the maximization of Norwegian’s top line ticket and ancillary revenues.

• Develop and execute on Norwegian’s revenue management and pricing strategy, consistently with the company’s strategic and financial objectives, as well as with the competitive landscape.

• Leading the organization cross-functionally on all revenue related items.

• Develop the commercial budget for ticket and ancillary revenue in cooperation with the commercial team and the Finance department.

• Revenue forecasting and reporting.

We seek an analytically focused and commercially oriented leader with a factual and insight-based approach. You have the ability to communicate at all levels with a strong ability to execute.

Qualifications

• Master degree in economics, mathematics, statistics or general business studies.

• A minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in airline revenue management, preferably from multiple areas (optimization, demand, pricing, analytics etc.)

• Proven track record in leadership roles within airline revenue management building and developing strong teams.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in the evaluation, selection, implementation, adaptation, refinement, and day-to-day use of modern revenue management and data analytics systems.

• Languages: English mandatory; one of the Scandinavian languages an asset.
