Vendor Management Specialist

My client who are a leading provider of aviation parts and services are expanding their services to be based in Heathrow. 

They are looking for a Vendor Management Specialist to join their team to supervise and be responsible for the tactical vendor performance. 

Purpose of the role: 

  • Planning and management of the Vendors relating to Repair Order transactions
  • Prioritising, WIP management and co-ordination of contractual requirements with the Vendor
  • Attending Vendor Meetings as and when required
  • Assisting and helping to organise Customer and Vendor Meeting presentation packages
  • Co-ordinating and collaborating with the Inventory & Data Management administrator
  • Developing and using operational KPI’s relating to the Repair Cycle

Targets:

  • Ensuring transactions and system integrity is maintained
  • Transactions are completed and managed within agreed timeframes
  • Making sure all service levels are to a high standard consistently
  • Management of individual performance in line with company policies and their values

 To be successful in this position you will need experience of Data and inventory management which partners being highly organised. You will be an excellent communicator to liaise with customers and build relationships. A background in Aviation will be an advantage but is not essential.
