Carbon60 have an exciting new position available for an Unlicensed Engineer to work in a permanent position based at Glasgow Airport, Scotland.
The successful Unlicensed Engineer will be working in a permanent position based in Glasgow, Scotland. As an Unlicensed Engineer you will be working on both base and line maintenance scheduled inspections, defect rectification, repairs and modifications on both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Carry out assigned inspection, maintenance and modification of aircraft and/or components as requested by the line manager and supervising licensed engineers.
- Clearly record on worksheets details of all work carried out. The level of detail must accurately reflect time applied; productive or otherwise.
- When not assigned duties, fully utilise all available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
- Comply with all procedures detailed within the company Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements.
- Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook.
- Any other duties commensurate with the position.
Requirements
- Hold the right to work in the UK and current valid passport
- Up-to-date CV
- In date EWIS, Human Factors and Fuel Tank Safety Certificates
- Happy to travel to locations overseas and in UK sometimes at short notice
