Are you looking for a new and exciting role with a small, friendly team based in the heart of the UK, supporting operations across the UK & Europe?
Patriot Aviation Engineering is a growing business based at Coventry Airport and part of the Aviation section within Rigby Group Plc. We aim to provide a timely and efficient maintenance service to our customers in the UK and Europe. Our specialist and dedicated team carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and warranty repairs and we are proud to be a UK Platinum Level service centre for Diamond Aircraft Industries. We are constantly improving the services we provide to our customers, which also helps toward upskilling and development of our workforce.
Due to increasing workload we are looking for an Unlicensed Engineer with experience on piston engine aeroplanes to perform a wide range of aircraft maintenance tasks on a diverse fleet.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and working within a small team of 10, the ideal candidate will be driven, flexible and happy to work in a busy environment, with a varied and interesting workload. You will be professional and proactive in your approach, along with having high individual standards. You will also need to be comfortable working with new and exciting technologies such as new generation composite aircraft.
We are ideally looking for someone with 2 years or more aircraft engineering experience on light piston aircraft. Experience in working with DA40 and DA42 type aircraft would be an advantage.
A full UK driving licence is required as UK travel may be required as part of this role.
