Compliance Manager – Based in Aberdeen

We are currently seeking a full time, permanent Compliance Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implement and oversee compliance monitoring with all relevant regulation, requirements, policies and procedures of UK AOCs.
  • Determining the effectiveness of the Company’s compliance management system in achieving the declared business quality objectives.
  • Identification of risk and risk ownership through internal auditing.
  • Management of the compliance risk picture through analysis of data, audit findings and observations, including management walk rounds to develop performance / risk auditing program.

Technical requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance within the aviation industry or other complex industry - Essential
  • Detailed knowledge / understanding of ISO and EASA regulations - Desirable
  • Proven background in one or more of the following aviation areas:- engineering, operations, verification - Desirable
  • Detailed understanding of Compliance requirements inclusive of auditing, audit planning, Management of Findings and Data Analysis - Essential
  • Detailed understanding of Safety Management System requirements - Essential
  • 3 or more years of supervisory or leadership experience with a willingness to further development – Essential
  • Contract bid experience - Desirable
  • Customer / client focus – Desirable
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels - Essential

Qualifications:

  • Recognised academic qualification undergraduate level or equivalent SMS Principles & Practices. – Desirable

Or

  • Understanding of the Quality Management System preferably with CQI/IRCA certification - Desirable
  • Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 - Essential
  • Incident / Accident Investigation training and experience - Desirable
  • Human Factors Training - Desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £50,000.00 to £60,000.00 /year
