Training Manager

British International Helicopters (BIH) has an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Training Manager. Based in Newquay you will oversee the Part 147 training organisation and the associated Part 145 continuation training programme ensuring the training development needs of the company are met.  This role requires the ability to travel to deliver training to the company operating sites.

The position will require the candidate to be acceptable to the CAA as a Form 4 post holder for the Maintenance Training Organisation.

The successful candidate will have the following experience/knowledge:

 Essential:

Aeronautical/electrical or mechanical degree or an EASA Pt 66 licence or have evidence of previous employment as an aeronautical type training instructor/manager.

Successfully completed a formal instructional techniques course.

3 years of relevant experience gained in a civil aviation environment or acceptable equivalent.

 Desirable:

Knowledge and understanding of EASA Pt 66,145 and 147 regulations.

Ability to develop, approve training material and delivery methods for Annex iv to Pt147

Strong organisational skills to enable delivery of effective training.

Excellent communication; verbal and written.

Adaptable with the ability to plan effectively.

Core hrs 37.5 per week.

  Salary £37000 pa.
