Job Description
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
More About the Role:
* Working Test Engineer/Functional/Quality Assurance team member on the RM Online team as a test engineer for the web-based application Resources Management Online for the Department of the Army supporting various commands.
* Performs manual and automation application system testing, working with other testers and developers, under the direction of the Test Lead.
* Refines and coordinates test standards with Test Lead in accordance with team’s Configuration Management and Quality Process and any customer contractual requirements.
* Reviews and updates test specifications, test results, test trends and implements corrective action as needed.
* Assist with team’s Helpdesk, SharePoint, Documentation and various forms of Quality Assurance for RM Online.
* Contribute to process improvement methodology with various aspects of testing/automated test, documentation, requirements analysis, and customer support.
* Assists customers/users with Tiered level customer support on Helpdesk with oral and written communication, functional and technical documentation, and potential requirements gathering or status meetings with team and client.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
* Approximately 3 - 5years of testing/functional experience
* Demonstrated understanding of the SDLC process; including all aspects of requirements and testing.
* Demonstrated level of knowledge and ability for functional and technical documentation updating for quality delivery to clients.
* Experience with multiple MS Office suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook.
* Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
* Excellent communication skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process in Information Assurance
* Familiarity with the DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process
* Experience with AWS cloud/VM Solutions
