Test Automation Engineer

About System Testing Group

Role Purpose:

* Role is primarily development based– To develop/maintain toolsets that support in automating test execution on test rig.

* However apart from good s/w knowledge candidate is expected to have a good knowledge of system he has worked upon.

Main Responsibilities:

Required technical (Primary)

* Object-orientated software development (C++)

* GUI development (MFC and .net)

* Script development (TCL)

* Real-time software development (VxWorks, Windows) of distributed systems

* Linux skills (RedHat based distribution) would be an added bonus

* Software driver development for interfaces

* Ability to resolve technical problems in a complex, distributed real-time system

* Software change management tools (Dimensions)

​Required technical skills (Secondary)

* Ability to develop software architectures

* Ability to analyse, maintain and optimise a large code base

* Hardware in the loop test environments, including VME-based testing environments

* Working with avionics hardware interfaces (discrete, analogue)

* Working with avionics digital data busses (ARINC 429, CAN bus, AFDX)

* Knowledge of Test tools

Career Level:

* 2+ to 5 years Experienced Engineer

Qualifications / Requirements:

* Bachelors/Master’s Degree in (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science)
