Role Purpose

Undertake servicing, maintenance and technical handling of aircraft under supervision of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians (Grade E4-T) and in accordance with the Company, DCA and other regulatory authorities approved methods and procedures.

Key Accountability

Carry out ground technical handling, routine and non-routine maintenance and servicing check and any other maintenance activity

Raise accident/incident and/or occurrence report of any accident/incident and forward the report to immediate superior.

Ensure aircraft bay are clear of FOD and ground equipment are located correctly before arrival and after departure of the aircraft

Ensure EDR is raised for discrepancies found on ground equipment used on the aircraft.
Undertake aircraft push back and towing with sufficient wing tip clearance and proper communication.

Ensure proper observation of safety procedures and ready availability of bay fire extinguisher.

Marshall aircraft and/or operate VDGS as applicable.

Ensure possession of adequate tools and equipment for performing the maintenance activities.

Qualification

SPM - Must possess SPM/MCE or equivalent

Working Experience

4 years, Must have undergone and completed trainings from an approved organisation to be an Aircraft MaintenanceTechnician.

Skills & Knowledge

Ability to communicate with the Engineers and Technicians (E4-T) on the subject of aircraft maintenance
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.
Able to work with minimum supervision.

Key Challenges

Ensuring all works performed on aircraft complies with the company and DCA Airworthiness requirements and any other regulatory body requirements.

Ensuring possession of correct skills set, given adequate training and are up-to-date on the latest methods, procedures and requirements of aircraft training
