Technical Support Engineer wm

Job brief:

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our U.S. customers. You will be based in our Atlanta office supporting our customers, mainly Airlines, Airports and Groundhandling Companies, spread over the U.S. Our headquarter is based in Aachen, Germany.

Responsibilities:

* Technical and functional second level support for our U.S. based customers during the complete product LiveCycle.

* Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues

* Coordination of Maintenance Releases and respective communication with customers within their organization structure

* Creation of technical documentation

* Conduct Technical trainings for your customers and projects

* Working within a team of consultants, developers and support engineers based in the U.S. and Germany

* Supporting customers on-site during the software implementation process

Requirements:

* BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field

* Proven work experience as a Software Support Engineer (or similar role) in Windows and Linux environments

* Experience in Oracle or similar DBMS including very good knowledge in SQL

* Excellent problem-solving and customer oriented communication skills

* Willing to be trained onside in headquarter Aachen, Germany on a regular basis. This might be up to three months in the beginning
