Position description
The Purchasing & Logistics Department is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of aircraft materials to the maintenance organisation in the right quantity and to the right place.
As a Technical Storeman, you are responsible for supporting all physical material processes in our warehouse and ensuring a fast and reliable supply to the requester. This position is part of the Logistics team.
Your Duties
* Issue material from store based on pick-slip requirements
* Pre-load materials for aircraft checks and ensure timely delivery to requested place
* Organize pick-up of materials and ensure delivery according to established processes
* Put-away materials in store (after goods receiving or not used materials)
* Support urgent material deliveries to various drop-points and locations
* Pack / un-pack and control materials
* Support general warehouse work and optimization
* Responsible for correct material bookings in LX AMOS
* Manage quarantine items
* Perform physical inventory checks
* Support core team in goods receiving process
* Support core team in dispatch process of unserviceable materials
Requirements
* Successful apprenticeship in area of logistics / supply chain or commercial background (“KV”)
* Experience in warehouse / store or logistics environment required
* High flexibility and good team player
* Able to work under pressure
* Willing to work shifts (early, late and night)
* Good command of English and/or German
* Experience in aviation as an advantage
* AMOS experience as an advantage
* Driving license
