The role can be based at either Stansted Airport or Luton Airport and regular travel between both bases will be required.  The basic hours of work will be 42 per week worked as a 5 day week on a Monday to Friday basis.

The role provides support to the Technical Services Department with carrying out responsibilities as per the MOE and company procedures.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:-

  • Supporting the Technical Estimator with maintenance input quotation production, identifying items such as 3rd party, pre-load and Service Bulletin requirements.
  • Supporting the Technical Services Manager with the production of Engineering proposals.
  • Liaise with Maintenance Control to schedule base maintenance inputs across the two Part 145 facilities.
  • Provide technical services to the Engineering Department during base maintenance inputs.
  • Updating customers with regard to progress of base maintenance inputs.
  • Cover Maintenance Control AOG / Planning desk as required.
  • Support the Technical Services Supervisor as require.
  • Ensure that procedures are followed in accordance with the Part 145 MOE.

Certification and Legal Responsibilities:-

  • Conversant with the Company Procedures and have a good understanding of their content and work within the constraints of the Procedures
  • Ensure all work carried out complies with the Regulatory Authority and Company Procedures in force at the time of the work being carried out.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and provide a detailed handover of any work in progress.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:-

  • At least five years experience of performing maintenance on aircraft to Part 145 requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Technical Services processes.
  • Ability to analyse maintenance date and liaise with internal and external technical departments for company requirements.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145.
  • Knowledge of other NAA Regulatory Requirements.
  • Product knowledge of corporate fixed wing and rotary would be beneficial.
