Aeropeople are currently looking for a competent technical records officer to work for a Helicopter MRO based on the south coast, there is a very attractive rate of pay on offer!

Purpose of the role

Technical Records Officer is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft technical data is recorded, maintained and logged correctly in accordance with UK CAA/EASA and our clients requirements. Working with aircraft technical logs, maintenance records, component log cards and audits, this job requires accuracy of all data.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

*Reviews and ensures that all aircraft records are being updated to the standards set out in the company procedures and CAME.
*Raise, issue and distribute aircraft status reports.
*Liaise with the maintenance planning team in respect of aircraft component configuration and status.
*Support the Airworthiness Planning Engineer in the performance of Airworthiness Reviews to ensure correct availability of technical records,
*Scans and index documents and technical records provided in physical paper format and uploads scanned copies to the Airworthiness Archive.
*Ensures that all received physical records are reviewed, inducted into the CAMO System and that any non-compliance issues are highlighted to the appropriate person or resolved satisfactorily.
*Ensures all physical records received are filed and/or archived locally in accordance with our clients procedures and CAME.
*Obtain, process, distribute and file Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other airworthiness information as appropriate.
*For any aircraft leaving our clients CAMO oversight, ensures that the records are updated complete, listed and appropriately dispatched in accordance with our clients procedures.
*Downloads, prints and transfers copies of Technical Log Pages to the Airworthiness Database.

Essential Skills

*Strong IT skills including demonstrable ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Scanning applications and printing applications.
*Experience of task planning and aviation technical records management.
*Familiarity with airworthiness and maintenance regulations in a military or civil aviation environment.
*Engineering Apprenticeship with an Aeronautical Engineering environment;
*Further education to HNC level or equivalent;
