Responsible for technical services and continuing airworthiness activities with respect to the fleet from the following viewpoints:-

 

  • Regulatory compliance
  • Airworthiness and safety
  • Aircraft reliability
  • Efficiency and product quality

Principal Accountabilities:-

 

  • To ensure the technical performance of the fleet through meeting all performance objectives within the Technical Services arena including safety, airworthiness, technical, reliability and quality targets.
  • Carry out technical investigation arising from Air Safety Reports/Ground Occurence Reports/Mandatory Occurence Reports
  • Act as on-site technical representative for base maintenance inputs and other projects where required
  • To implement, amend and control Technical Services and Continuing Airworthiness Management procedures


Person Specification

 

  • EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 licence or equivalent technical qualification (ie degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject) - Essential
  • Type Rating on Embraer E170/190 aircraft, or experience within a technical support/technical services role - Desirable
  • Relevant experience working as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer or within a related technical role - Essential
  • Recent experience on modern commercial aircraft types - Essential
  • Ability to work in a team environment - Essential
  • Br able to analyse written information and data and draw accurate inferences - Essential
  • Sound analytical and decision making skills - Essential
  • Ability to make decisions based on sound rationale and technical knowledge - Essential
  • Working knowledge of EASA Part-M regulations - Essential
  • Ability to travel overseas when required - Essential
