Tech Aide Engineering

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide key technical support to engineering and corporate staff for projects in compiling, reducing, formulating or sequencing technical or test data working from standard procedures or selecting the best procedure from generally understood methods.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Provides technical assistance to engineering and corporate staff in preparing reports, solving problems, and compiling technical data working from standard procedures and generally understood methods.

a. Researches, computes, charts, plots, reads, measures and records complicated engineering or test data.

b. May set up and operate data reduction equipment.

c. Assists in preparing engineering reports.

II. May be required to prepare engineering data or sketches.

C. Supports engineering staff by routing incoming and outgoing work to the appropriate location

D. Coordinates project, kick-off development, and close-out procedures

V. Operates office equipment necessary to perform assignment.

VI. Requires regular contact with personnel in engineering to secure and furnish information.

VII. Responsible only for own work.
