This role would suite a hands on Systems Test & IVVQ Engineer who will work on either Naval, Communications, or Land Vehicle programmes. We also have another 2 positions one is ideally suited to a Systems Design Engineer who is seasoned with systems interfaces and descriptions to move the product on and the otyher is a straight forward Systems Design Engineer Full Systems Lifecycle role.
ADDITIONAL
I am also seeking 6 Systems Requirements Engineers who can use DOORS for front end requirements illicitation and capture to be based out of Glasgow, Reading, or Bristol.
AT THE COAL FACE TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- To identify and review technical risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
- To creates the technical specifications with acceptance criteria for subsystems.
- To define the integration, verification, validation, qualification, certification and acceptance methods,
- To work collaboratively with other disciplines to define System and Sub-system Requirements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PROVEN ABILITY
- Substantial experience in System engineering of hardware and software system.
- Proven experience in working collaboratively across multiple product development and specialist domain teams.
- Proven track record of working and delivering on solutions for a defence programme.
- Proficient in the use of Requirement Management tools (e.g. DOORS);
DESIRABLE SKILLS EXPERIENCE
- Ability to use tools such as Matlab, Simulink & MathCad.
- Ability to use Capella, Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect
- Possesses knowledge of the fundamentals of Model Based Systems Engineering and SysML.
ADDITIONAL SECURITY INFORMATION: WE SEEK SYSTEMS ENGINEERS WHO HAVE WORKED IN A MILITARY / DEFENCE ENVIRONMENT / INDUSTRY WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR WHO ARE CAPABLE OF OBTAINING SECURITY CLEARANCE (SC LEVEL MINIMUM)
