Lockheed Martin is looking for a Systems Engineering Manager. As the team lead and manager you will define an organization and build a strong group of leaders and individual contributors to plan and successfully execute the Targets program. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. You will also have a program direct role where you will be planning, coordinating, and executing systems engineering activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience leading a team in either a lead or management role
- Demonstrated ability to define and manage to an Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
- Demonstrated experience managing large- complex subcontractors
- Demonstrated ability to integrate cost, schedule and technical constraints
- Application and knowledge of Systems Engineering Processes
- Risk & Opportunity Management Experience
- Demonstrated ability to interact with DOD customers and build effective relationships
- Active DoD Security Clearance; US citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a Program Start-up environment
- Experience on a leadership team on a development program
- Experience with control account management principles, techniques, and processes, minimum in either a CAM position, or a role with similar experience
- Experience with missile systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
