Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Systems Engineer, you will provide support for the existing Windows file share environment and engineer the next-generation share architecture leveraging object storage as part of our customer’s Global Services initiatives. You will be responsible for working in collaboration with the team, but also independently with minimal guidance, and delivering weekly status updates to leadership. Additionally, you will be required to automate the building of the new architecture, enabling numerous deployments globally. You and your team will be required to utilize coding best practices and a CI/CD pipeline.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Must be proficient with the following technologies:

* Windows 2016 DPM
* Windows DFS-R
* PowerShell scripting
* Provisioning, integrating, and utilizing object store technologies

Required Skills:

* Demonstrated on-the-job experience in performing cyber security incident response and cyber/insider threat analysis for an IT enterprise.
* Demonstrated experience using Splunk Enterprise Security to analyze IT system activity for indication of malicious use.
* Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks so that work is completed on schedule.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts and project information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Good interpersonal, organizational, writing, communications, and briefing skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Familiarity with Windows scripting/programming
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline

Education and Experience Requirements:
Candidate must possess one of the following:

* 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
* 10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
* 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
* 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
* 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

Work Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
