A great new opportunity to join the Lockheed Martin Australia team in Williamtown, NSW, as a Systems Engineer.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working under the supervision of the Project Engineering Manager, you will be an integral member of a growing engineering team supporting the Tactical Air Defence Radar System and emerging work in F-35 ground support systems. You will design and develop architectural and system level changes to the TADRS sub-systems to ensure sustainment of the product.
You will be involved in requirements management, system design, implementation and verification activities for complex systems. The role will also require you to provide technical solutions to a wide range of challenging problems relating to design, implementation and verification.
With your expertise and past experience, you will be in a position to identify business improvement initiatives with respect to Hardware, Software and related Engineering disciplines. You will enjoy direct working relationships with customers and a huge sense of accomplishment in the role you play on projects important to Australia’s security.
About you:
* Experience with Radar Systems or related technologies / domains.
* Sound understanding of the system lifecycle, including requirements through to verification concepts.
* Experience in systems engineering using engineering methods & tools.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
* Tertiary qualifications in a related engineering discipline
* Any previous experience working within the defence industry will be an added advantage.

* Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and must be eligible for NV1 Security Clearance
