Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell’s Aero Engines & Power Systems group. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.

Apply engineer knowledge, tools, and principals to develop systems improving for .

Design high tech systems to integrate homes to manage comfort, efficiency, cost.

Innovate and design systems to safely deploy military overseas.

Solve complex problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Serve in a technical role in support of product lines or new development projects. Work with Sales and Customers to ensure designs meet customer expectations.

• Member of Reliability and System Safety engineering team in performing Reliability & System Safety analyses, including reliability predictions analyses, FMECAs, Weibull analyses, phase 6 data assessments, PHAs, FTAs, per Mil-Std-882.

• The successful candidate will develop Reliability and System Safety program plans in accordance with Mil-Std-785, Mil-Std-882. Successful candidate will be able be to analyze system or equipment risk with respect to Reliability and Safety. Must be able to define requirements to suppliers of gas turbine engine controllers as tailored to a specific program. Strong communication skills required.

• Engineer will implement relevant aspects of ARP4761, ARP4754A, Mil-Std-882, Mil-Std-785 requirements/guidelines for both Military & Commercial Certification.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

WE VALUE

• Experience in a previous Reliability/System Safety role

• Must be able to communicate at multiple levels from Engineer 1 to Chief engineer

• Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work

• Familiarity with Gas turbine engine is a plus

• Greenbelt certification, Blackbelt certification a plus

• Some experience in a highly regulated and safety critical domain

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
