The Fixed Wing Solutions department is seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers who are experience in leveraging existing and development of new technologies to provide innovative systems solutions for multiple military fixed-wing aircraft avionics systems.

These positions are located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A comprehensive relocation package is available.

Responsibilities
* Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and three years of prior relevant experience, or in the absence of a degree, seven years of prior relevant experience.
* Knowledge of systems engineering processes.
* Understanding of systems, software and hardware development processes in an avionics application.
* Ability to break down and execute on complex tasks with minimal instructions.
* Experience working in highly collaborative environments.
* Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of tasks and lead efforts spanning multiple internal and external stakeholders.
* Keen aptitude for technical work that spans multiple levels of detail.

Key qualifications we look for in our Systems Engineering team:
* Ability to travel up to 10%.
* Working knowledge of avionics and navigation principles.
* Experience with military fixed-wing aircraft avionics systems.
* Experience with the Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion and / or Flight2 architectures.
* Aircraft systems experience with the following:
* Human / machine interface (HUDs, displays and controls)
* Weapons systems
* Sensor systems
* Navigation, safety
* Intelligence and surveillance
* Voice and data communications
* Information assurance
* Flight controls, or digital / analog system interfaces
* Knowledge and experience working with Avionics regulatory and certification requirements: TSO, DO-160, DO-254, DO-297, DO-178B/C, and ARP4754A.
* Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ALM, DOORS, Subversion, and PREP.
* Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development method.
