Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, develop and execute system test plans and strategies to assess product/solution functionality per customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with software development engineers to design and write detailed test plans and execute testing on complex software systems
Define and effectively communicate test strategies
Effectively document identified defects and collaborate with engineers on characterization
Work in a lab environment and use software testing and test automation tools
Ability to obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level necessary to perform the duties of the position

Skills and Knowledge:
Experience with testing in Windows, GUI based, Linux and/or Unix-based operating systems
Experience with testing/debugging system-level issues with various testing tools
Experience with unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Experience with test plan and test case development
Proven proficiency in problem analysis and experience with a wide range of platforms and customer applications
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated effective teamwork skills
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline and 4-6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of skills, education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience with software test automation including automated regression testing
Knowledge of and experience with test automation tools or test harnesses such as Jenkins, Selenium and Ranorex
Knowledge of agile methodology, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
