As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptual design of train energy and motion auxiliary power systems and their integration into train vehicles. You also will coordinate with suppliers and customers to implement engineering solutions taking into account reuse of standard products.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop auxiliary power system and sub-system level technical requirements from customer and internal requirements and ensure that these are consistent, complete and correct;
- Design auxiliary power system architectures based on the requirements and product portfolio;
- Generate Technical Requirements Documents (TRD) for auxiliary power suppliers;
- Perform technical evaluation of auxiliary power supplier proposals;
- Technically manage the auxiliary power supplier during all phases of the project (Design, Test, Warranty);
- Review auxiliary power supplier documentation according to the process and project requirements;
- Evaluate auxiliary power system level tests to verify and validate the auxiliary power system requirements.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) with relevant experience;
- Experience with auxiliary power systems;
- Proven experience in leading the technical scope of customer delivery projects;
- Excellent communications skills both written and spoken;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in English.
