Support Technician, E-Commerce

The incumbent is a specialist in quality and provide support to the business for Web applications. He is responsible to execute the user acceptance testing (UAT), participates in development activities and monitors development requests. He also provides support to the business by filtering and analyzing bugs reported by staff or end users.

Responsibilities

* Ensure quality of web solutions developed;

* Define test plans for projects and Web developments;

* Execute manual and automated functional and integrated test scripts;

* Identify / document / track bugs, change requests or development requests, and follow up;

* Filter / process and analyze (at high-level) the reported bugs by the collaborators or the end users, help resolve the situations, escalate to the teams;

* Approve production roll-out of deliverables, in terms of quality and performance;

* Participate in evaluation of testing effort needed in different projects and Web developments;

* Participate in project post-mortem;

* Identify opportunities to improve UAT process.

Requirements

* College degree in computer science;

* One (1) to three (3) years of experience in e-commerce;

* Knowledge of internet platforms based transactional websites;

* Knowledge of testing tools (example: Quality center, Visual Studio Online, JIRA. an asset);

* Ability to work under pressure and to deliver within strict time frames;

* Excellent written and verbal expression;

* Ability to acquire new skills quickly;

* Bilingual (French and English) ,spoken and written.
