Morson International are currentyl recruiting Support Engineers for our client based at RAF Coningsby

The Support engineer will be based within TyTAN and will deliver and maintain Data Integrity to the RAF customer through Capability upgrades, maintenance Extensions and in Service Continuous Improvements to the Engineering Data of the Aircraft. Working as part of the Engineering Data Team under the Technical Information Manager, the successful candidate will work towards providing customer support for the Engineering Support system and Maintenix across forward and depth maintenance operations. Determine what assets, at what standard, can be fitted to an aircraft and ensure data is available and fit for use. This work is essential for the ongoing management of the allowable aircraft configuration, maintenance program and asset lifting and ultimately contributes a fundamental role to maintaining Continued Airworthiness across the UK fleet of Typhoon Aircraft in an emerging Mil-Part-M organisation. The Successful candidate will be required to progress and manage change to the Business and Reference Data, interface directly with the customer community across the RAF and industry maintenance domains and assure the output meets the exacting standards the Typhoon Aircraft demands. Attention to detail is key whilst adherence to tight programme timescales for Data delivery. ESS and Typhoon platform experience is essential to ensure successfully undertaking of their responsibilities, whilst knowledge and functionality of IMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyse, accept and correct Data Change Requests from both the Customer and Industry.
  • Determine the changes necessary to the ESS and Maintenix baseline data in order to sustain configured data through life.
  • Nationalise Reference Data to meet the UK specific requirements of the Typhoon EA.
  • Investigate Data errors, implement updates or corrective action within published timescales.
  • Support the TSC problem solving resolution service through the collation of data to support ad-hoc queries.
