Supervisor, In-Flight Service

The supervisor will work at the airport, front line in contact with the inflight crews managing the day-to-day needs, performance and safety.

Responsibilities

* Ensure consistent quality customer service through extensive gate checks, general supervision and occasional onboard supervision;

* Ensure that all Transport Canada regulations and Company policies are being adhered to by all Cabin Crew;

* Participate in meetings with employees on a regular basis and perform debriefings as needed;

* Evaluate and motivate employee performance;

* Coach and contribute to development of Flight Attendants to enable them to reach and exceed expected performance levels;

* Ensure the punctuality of the flights according to the norms of the company;

* Review the flight reports, answer the various questions of crew members and follow up with other departments;

* Monitor staff attendance and punctuality and maintain up-to-date employee records;

* Perform day-to-day administrative and other duties as required.

Requirements

* Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the airline industry;

* Two (2) years supervisory/managerial experience (an important asset);

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* Outstanding leadership skills;

* Outstanding organizational and time management skills;

* Demonstrate Rigor, Integrity, Autonomy and Professionalism;

* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite;

* Proficiency in oral and written English and French is essential;

* Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays;

* Availability to travel abroad.
