Our client is looking to recruit a Supervisor at their aerospace engineering facility in Hilsea

Responsibilities

Manage a team of people (x3-5)
Drive team development, and generate and deliver training requirements
Take ownership of product throughput and quality
React to product processes to ensure quality standards are met / maintained, i.e. making immediate correction to machine
Product planning to ensure materials are available to operate machine, minimising down time
Understand and drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) data collection and target improvements based upon data analysis and project management
Manage and perform first line maintenance to support, machine start-ups, cleaning regimes, and minor breakdown recovery. (Training will be provided)
Deliver 5S planning and deployment

Key Skills:

Data analysis
OEE understanding and drive improvements
SAP knowledge
Microsoft Office capability (particularly Excel)
Understanding / delivery of project management and plans
Problem solving / route cause analysis
Team management
Excellent communication / persuasiveness / team work / vigilance
Industry relevant qualifications (i.e. apprenticeship served, city in guilds, or NVQ, B-Tec etc) any certification MUST be presented at interview.

Shift Patterns:

9-day fortnight. Successful candidate would work Monday to Friday one week, Monday to Thursday the next week and then alternate between the two
