Job Role:
Excel have been asked to find a number of technicians and mechanics to join a long running contract producing and fitting structural modifications to large cargo aircraft.
We have a lot of experience of this contract and know that when guys start they dont tend to leave - its a good working environment where you are responsible for your own work, at your own pace, and good job satisfaction - unlike a lot of production you will see the final product as it leaves the hangar/workshop.
To be considered you must be able to show good experience of working with aircraft structures, ideally both in production and maintenance. Any mechanical experience is a benefit, as is any repair or composite experience as there are elements of this to the work too.
Inspectors must be able to show previous supervisory/inspection experience within structures and be comfortable managing small teams of technicians
In return we offer excellent job security with contracts of an initial 6 months but likely much longer, very good rates of pay and a comfortable working week of around 45 hours in two different locations.
