Aviation Purchaser – permanent role

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Purchaser to join their Purchasing Team in Switzerland.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to define, implement and lead the global supply strategy and develop an optimal global supplier portfolio. You will identify and realise cost reduction potential and will negotiate supplier contracts. 

Key skills and qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in purchasing of technical systems in a part 145 environment
• Advanced skills in terms of influencing, entrepreneurship, result orientation, negotiation, problem solving, project management and team working/building
• Good communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills are equally important
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• Excellent oral and written communication in English, with French language being advantageous. 
• Experience of systems (SAP, Windows, Office) and reporting is essential
• Top motivation
