MPI have a requirement for a Stores Person to be based in Broughton, Cheshire.
Mon – Fri, 39 hours per week
07.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday (just awaiting confirmation on these hours)
07.30 - 12.30 Friday
with flexibility to work overtime in the evenings and weekends
Paying: £9.00 PAYE or £11.07 Ltd Company

We are a leading Aircraft maintenance, Repair and overhaul facility based in Broughton and we are currently recruiting for a Stores Person join our team.
Applicants will have previous experience of working in a busy Stores environment, ideally within the aviation industry and an engineering background would be advantageous.
DUTIES INCLUDE AND NOT LIMITED TO:
Checking and filing incoming paperwork against shipments.
Checking goods in have correct paperwork and resolving any paperwork discrepancies.
Ensuring the segregation of U/S parts from serviceable parts.
Ensuring correct storage procedures are adhered to.
Maintaining the security and integrity of bonded stores.
General housekeeping of Stores Area.
Control and maintenance of accurate stock levels
Accurate data entry to Stores database.
Accurate storage of material certification received.
Preparation of items for shipment to both UK and Europe.
Raising delivery notes and weekly shelf-life reports.
Issuing materials/stock to jobs.
Assist the tooling controller in Placing Tooling orders on approved suppliers
Monitoring calibration records
EXPERIENCE/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Reliable and responsible manner
Good standard of communication skills.
High standard of numerical and organisational skills, and ability to prioritise work load and work under pressure.
Ability to take and follow instructions accurately, good attention to detail.
Flexible approach to working hours
Full clean driving licence
Fork Lift Truck licence desirable
Dangerous goods by Road/Air qualification desirable
Ability to manage manually demanding work
