Job Description:
AS Aerospace Limited are looking for an experienced Stores Controller.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience working in Stores, be proactive, reliable, hardworking, enjoy working in a team environment and able to work to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods Inwards Control (Receiving & Inspection of Aircraft parts).
- Up keep of Quarantine Stores/Unsalvageable items.
- Up keep Bonded Store.
- Parts issued to Aircraft/Work Orders etc.
- Packaging & Despatch of goods.
- Maintaining usage rates and spares holding, informing the Commercial/Logistics Manager if stocks are reduced or likely to be reduced to an unacceptable limit.
- Upkeep of Oil Stores and minimum levels.
- Control of all products and consumables with a Shelf Life.
- Liaising with Courier, Freight Agents with regard to Collections.
- Stock taking
- External Parts Sales Transactions (Picking, packing, quoting and invoicing).
- Raising purchase and repair orders
- General House Keeping.
- Any other request made by the Commercial / Logistics Manager.
- Out of hours/on call coverage.
Essential Skills required:
- Previous experience working in Stores.
- Good written and verbal communication essential.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and quick to learn.
- Good organisational skills.
- Proactive with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Capable to prioritise.
- Confident with a friendly telephone manner.
- A good all round team player, willing to help colleagues.
