Job Title: Stock Controller (9 month Fixed term contract)
Location: Oxfordshire/Greater Manchester
Aeropeople have an exciting opportunity for 3 experienced stock controllers with our illustrious Aerospace client at a number of locations across the UK.
Our client is a consortium made up of leading aerospace, defence and facilities management specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrable experience in an Aircraft or automotive spare parts or high technology storekeeping role.
Proficient in computerized storekeeping systems.
Proficient in SAP transacting preferable but not essential
Experience of technical stock auditing.
Issue of serviceable parts, material and tooling to Engineers.
Inspect and dispatch unserviceable parts for repair, overhaul or servicing.
Maintain SAP records for at deployed locations.
Be personally responsible for delivering a safe service in all facets of the role in line with the requirements of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems. This Includes maintaining awareness of the company safety and quality policies and the applicable hazard analyses.
Capable of commanding respect among peers, management and third party officials.
Capable of taking a safety focussed approach all facets of work
Capable of producing and managing accurate records.
Knowledge of security for air cargo in aviation
Understanding of stock management
Knowledge and Experience
* Have sound Material Planning and Material Management knowledge and experience.
* Working knowledge of an ERP system in an aviation MRO environment, preferably SAP.
* Experience of managing tasks in an environment of changing priorities
