Ryanair and our Engineering partners are inviting applications for a Standards Liaison to be based at Stansted Airport.

Duties:

  • Ensuring all line station engineers in their area are maintaining the fleet to the standard specified within the approved instructions for Continued Airworthiness (AMM/SRM/FIM etc), Company Manuals/Procedures and in accordance with EASA Part 145 and Part M
  • Ensuring all Line Stations are maintained to the standards specified within the CAME and Company Manuals/Procedures and that good housekeeping practices are implemented.
  • Analysing non-compliance to develop and deliver specific task training for problematic areas to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Liaising with Quality Assurance and Responsible Manager to ensure all open non-compliance are appropriately actioned on time.
  • Liaising with the Technical Standards Department to standardise workflow and outstation requirements across the network.
  • Carry out impromptu base visits, monitoring the work being performed, the base standards and review the last base visit (RA380) of the Engineering liaison for that base.  Reporting back any findings to the Technical Standards Department and relevant Area Manager. 
  • Liaise with the Area Managers and Outstation Liaisons regarding poor performing areas. 
  • Provide training to Outstation Liaisons and engineers regarding standards improvements.
  • Providing a consolidated weekly report to the Area Manager and Technical Standards Department, which shall include at a minimum the above-mentioned points.
  • Responsibility for the outstation personnel and facilities remain with the Outstation Manager, Liaisons, AES Directors and Line Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally you will be educated to Degree level
  • Have proven Line Maintenance experience.
  • Proven Aviation experience.Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & AMOS Software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate others in reaching the highest level of service and quality.
  • Working knowledge of EASA part 145 and its application in the workplace.
