Staff Software Engineer- Embedded Test Lead

Job Summary: L3 Interstate Electronics Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer focused on providing software test responsibilities.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of navigation solutions, including global positioning systems (GPS).

Qualifications
You will demonstrate success by having:
• Experience with scripting languages, including python and matplotlib and platform experience using Windows, Visual Studio, C/C++ and GCC .
• Progressive experience in creating and using test harnesses for embedded systems.
• Expertise testing in an embedded software development environment with broad lab experience integrating with, and debugging on, target hardware.
• Ability to quickly learn to develop tests using an in-house scripting test tool/software to perform SW integration tests, software performance tests and white box testing.
• Expertise in efficient execution of software test procedures and analysis of results and experience with supporting documentation - test procedures, test reports, test configuration records and capturing errors in an issue tracking system.
• Knowledge of DOD development, including developing software requirements traceability to software test.
• Demonstrated as a self-starter, able to individually implement a wide variety of test scenarios and perform hands-on assignments.
• Ability and motivation to quickly learn GPS fundamentals and the GPS user equipment capabilities necessary to support SW testing, including constellation simulation.
Qualifications:
• Required Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or Master of Science (MS) degree in a Technical Discipline such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering Years of experience in (be specific)
• 7-8 years applicable engineering experience.
