General responsibilities of the position: Area of Expertise:
Installation, operation, maintenance, repair and modification of equipment, controls or ancillary products.
Guidance and training provided to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
Analysis of equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
Level of Responsibility:
· Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity
· Contributes to the department or business unit by applying their advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas
· May develop and coach others
· Has expert knowledge that extends across multiple disciplines
Specific responsibilities of position: • Owns technical content and validation of SI, SIL, DAA letters, ICA, DCR, etc
• Drive product performance (reliability, durability, maintainability, DMC, etc..) and define/ coordinate associated campaigns
• Support groups that manage day-to-day customer events (eg. Field support representatives, CFIRST help desk
• Support new contract proposals and compliance (as applicable)
• Define strategies to drive service improvements and provide best-in-class support
• Define appropriate actions to improve reliability in collaboration with required support organization
Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years experience
· Master degree with 4 to 7 years experience
Field of studies: Mechanical Engineering
Additional Information: APU experience (an important asset)
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Good computer skills
Strong people and communication skills
Bilingual
Team Player
This position will require some traveling to meet customers when needed
