* Responsibilities:

* Manage the planning, execution, and tracking/reporting of all technical and engineering aspects of the engineering development for airborne reconnaissance systems. This includes: leading the efforts of a cross functional engineering team for all engineering non-recurring development activities (from requirements through integration and test) and acting as the key technical interface between Program Management and Engineering.
* Support the purchase of deliverable hardware via Basis of Materials (BOM) and Material Masters development.
* Identify technical risks and development and execute risk mitigation strategies.
* Support preventive and corrective action planning and implementation.
* Perform Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties, including providing Earned Value Management support relative to cost and schedule metrics.
* Manage the engineering product development process including: supporting the engineering change process, and driving the conduct of technical reviews; in-process reviews; and program milestone reviews (e.g., PDR and CDR).

Qualification:

* 2+ years of Project Engineering experience with developing DoD systems.
* 4+ years of Engineering experience with developing DoD systems.
* Experience with the leadership of cross functional engineering teams.
* Working knowledge of EVMS and Control Account Management.
* Working knowledge of work estimation, scheduling and the critical path method (CPM).
* Working knowledge of technical risk management.

* Ability to lead cross-discipline engineering teams, building effective teams.
* Ability to drive tasks to closure in an environment of changing priorities.
* Ability to learn on the fly.
* Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
* MS Office products (including Project).
* Due to programs & projects, candidate must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Clearance.

Education: BS in Engineering or equivalent is required-
