Sr Test Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Sr. Test Technicians at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

Within the IPS department, the training instructors are to conduct Operator and/or Maintenance training at the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) and our subcontractor facility in Warren, MI. The Training Instructor trains our client’s client to make them capable of operating, maintaining, and diagnosing the Heavy Duty Truck and its equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* To gain skills and knowledge to be able to conduct the Vehicle and Material Technician training operator training to reach Client’s quality expectations: between 90% and 100% of the satisfaction survey global result

* To administer the training in accordance with the training plan and the training session forms

* To report the feedback after each training to the IPS Manager

* To send the attendance sheet and satisfaction survey to the IPS Manager

* To provide comments on the training material if required

* To maintain the training material operational (Touch screen tablet, training posters and charts, vehicles, trailer, exercise load, specific tool and diagnostic tools…)

* To report to the IPS Manager in case of any problems

* Flexible, priority will be given where most of training session will be conducted: APG and Warren, MI.

* Travel to other US military bases may be required for backup purpose.

Required Qualifications:

* Good knowledge of US army truck operator job and be able to Train others Engine maintenance (unit injector with electronic management) & diagnostic Hydraulic system maintenance & diagnostic EBS & ABS Brakes maintenance & diagnostic Electrical system maintenance & diagnostic Electronic system maintenance and diagnosti

* Rigid & trailer trucks driving Office software applications

* Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Writer

* Valid US driving license

* No restriction to obtain clearance for US Army Base access

* Orator

* Instructor

* Host

* Organizational sense

* Listening sense

* Confidentiality and discretion

* Autonomous

* English fluent
