N2 is currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Sr. Process Technician to perform trial runs on new molds, evaluate processing on current tooling and create plans for improvement in a fast-paced, hands-on, and highly-collaborative environment.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform sampling of new tooling and processes
* Perform tool qualifications and document required reports
* Set up and troubleshoot molding processes and secondary operations
* Reviews part design and makes recommendations to improve moldability
* Actively participate in continual improvement
* Work directly with the quality department to ensure product quality
* Develop standard operating procedures for new and existing processes
* Documents work according to N2 procedures
* Train and supervise production personnel on molding, ultrasonic and thermal operations
* Preventative maintenance and repairs to injection mold presses and supporting equipment
* First and second shift flexible
Qualification:
* US Persons required
* 5+ years’ process tech or related experience in a manufacturing environment
* Ultrasonic welding experience
* Thermal Staking experience
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
* Able to read basic written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
* Quick learner with strong attention to detail
* Must have the ability to work with others in a fast-changing environment.
Education: •High School diploma or equivalent
